Frequently asked questions
Exhausting your prepaid credits will not, in itself, result in you losing access. If you use up your contracted credits before your term ends:
Usage is still captured – Any consumption beyond your initial credit pool is tracked as on-demand consumption and will be invoiced in arrears.
Top up mid-contract – Just reach out to your Snyk account team and we can add credits to your existing contract.
Credits must be used within the term of your order, after which any unused credits will expire and cannot be refunded or transferred.
Real-time credit usage is visible in your Snyk admin dashboard, with per-capability breakdown and threshold alerts. See here for more information around our billing and usage settings.
Yes. Credits apply across the full Snyk platform. Admins can switch capabilities on and off yourself to shift usage toward whichever capabilities matter most - including immediate, no-friction access to new GA products when made available by Snyk.
